Attention, duelists! My hair has opened [link] for pretty much all of my work, while Aki-Mito will be home to the Assassins universe.

I guess I'll be rewriting this fucking thing 'til the end of time (not that anyone's reading anyway,) but I've figured out why I'll never finish Assassins the way it is at the moment. It's fucking stupid! I'm trying to force this story out like a pocky flavored pile of shit and if I ever want to finish it, the following changes will be made:
1)A more serious mood that emulates western sci-fi more than anime and manga. The adolescent wackiness will still be there, but less over-the-top.
2)A 21st century setting with a relatable cast and realistic characters.
3)No more high-flying, drawn out fight scenes. Since the battles are no longer the focal point, keeping the "Dragonball" fighting is pointless. Most characters will use signature melee weapons, but firearms will be largely integrated into the story. With the fights being shorter and less frequent, the ones we do get between important characters may prove more fatal.
4)The messy pile of plotlines will be hugely simplified, raising a couple of questions at a time rather than cramming new material together for no reason. All filler will be cut, as well as contradictory elements and unexplained phenomina. Now that the story is hugely altered, the chapter structure will play out in consistant chapters rather than a "trilogy". This will keep me from making more filler. There will be a beginning, a middle, and end, and that's it. The story will not continue.
5)Several pointless characters like Tenso, Dewen, Amla's annoying friends, Soki, Yashagoro, and possibly Griffon's role as a major character will be erased. If they don't really do anything in the original, they're eliminated from the entire universe. Yeah, I know Tenso was liked, but he's extra baggage and a pain in the ass to fit into the story.
6)NO MORE FUCKING NINJAS, THEY JUST MAKE NO SENSE.
7) Still trying to come up with that title. Assassins, while more fitting now, is a bit overused.
8'th and most important) YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO READ IT!!!!! Yeah, I'm making Assassins a private project. Posting it on DA just puts me in a rush, and as I said, no one reads it anyway.
